Change The Script

As many of you will have seen, people across the world are dying because of ‘leaders’ driven by greed, power, and ego, who believe they can trample over human rights without consequence. Innocent people killed, piles of body bags, futures erased Picasso’s Guernica lived. Has history taught us nothing?

The rise of extremism is frightening. Listen to the intro dialogue from David Bowie and Tin Machine from 1991 — it still resonates, perhaps more now than ever.

The global protests show that people want change, they are standing up, risking and  sacrificing their lives for what they believe in. So, the question remains: what can we do?  How can we contribute to this collective movement for a better world?

We fully appreciate how fortunate we are that we don’t have to worry about our next meal, or whether we’ll see our children, parents, or friends tomorrow. This perspective brings both gratitude and responsibility.

We hope that we can help ‘change the script’ with what we are doing and saying, our design, the music and the stories we tell. Our glow watch was designed to capture the essence of duality in the world, light and dark, without one you truly can’t see the other. We see the darkness out there hopefully we will reach the light.

"I’ve been a vintage Heuer collector for over twenty years, drawn to the timeless design and craftsmanship of chronographs from the 1960s and 70s. I find that watches of this time in particular tell stories,not just of engineering and design but, of the people and eras behind them.

I’ve also been in recovery for even longer, and mental health is something I engage with every day as an alcoholic in recovery. When I discovered Split, it immediately resonated on both a personal and design level. The brand’s approach to mental health awareness feels honest and lived. A real mission I recognize from my own journey.

Beyond the purpose, I genuinely love the watches. Their modern interpretation of classic chronograph design clearly nods to the golden era of brands like Heuer, while still feeling fresh and contemporary. It’s a rare balance of heritage and innovation done right.
